Yes you can obtain the ASUS and ECS growth cards but the trick is.... these motherboards from Asus are already coming out very soon, by December we should observe them on shelves and then we can have the OPTION to also purchase the USB 3.0 growth cards for the PCIe to have even more thus making your X58 or P55 working until USB3.0 is the norm or standard which will be in about 2-5 years. We already recognize that the hexacore core i9s will be used on X58 boards so might also purchase an X58 with the USB 3.0onboard and ready, plus expand. This is advice for those who are planning on building a next generation PC in the next few months, not in the long period or next year but in 2009. It makes the most sense if you are planning on making the best system presently probable with future references.
