Apple Running Windows Parallels

Hello,all

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard installation disk. This may be a Mac OS X Leopard disc included with a purchased copy of Leopard, or Mac OS X Install Disc 1 from a Mac Leopard preinstalled.

Sure, going to go into the differences between Parallels and VMware Fusion when the final version of VMware Fusion is released around August.

Thank you very much for the well written article. Save a lot of trouble to reply to all "Boot Camp" issues that seem to pop up every 10 sec.

Someone needs to sticky this. Stop all new Mac switchers who do not know what to look for means continually asking the same question over and over and over and...

Agreed. Same with the other item on the Elimination of Mac OSX and Mac play critical files, such as the user folder and the iPhoto library. (Not crucial, but the change can cause headaches)

Now, please make sure that we will keep the posts subject. Posts on the subject is not removed and ABSOLUTELY NO WINDOWS VS OS X. This message is to help people run Windows on a Mac regardless of their reasoning.

Be sure to check out the Windows on a Mac sticky. There is some comparison between the two there.

Combined with that thread.

Hmmm, from the Parallels website I do not see anywhere that says shows Windows applications in states, but has said Parallels Coherence feature (similar to VMware unit) so you can run Windows applications without the window open Parallels.

Ran parallel to my iMac before I sold it. Worked quite well actually. However, the MBP I picked up last night I installed Bootcamp 1.3 and not a full install Vista Home Prem. Everything is working as a gem at this time.
