Bajaj Auto is planning to introduce upgrades for its premium range of bikes, the Pulsar 200 and the Pulsar 220 for the coming year. The current P200 which runs on a carburetor is speculated to come with a fuel injection system (Bajaj might use the P220'S FI system) which will surely improve the performance and fuel economy of the bike. The P220 in the meantime is expected to sport an all black treatment for the alloy wheels and the engine, similar to the 200. The bike will also sport a carbon fibre exhaust which was displayed at the 2005 Auto Expo. The upgraded bikes are expected to be launched this year as the 2009 models.
