It has been not extended since Samsung released its Corby in India. The much announced product has seen a good amount of sales in the country and Samsung has no purposes to "let go" off the creation. In fact, there is information that Samsung is set a CDMA edition of the Corby for India.

Despite the bigger GSM based subscriber base, India also has great CDMA users on the Reliance and the Tata Indicom networks. With the figure of CDMA customers too being extremely large, it only creates sense for Samsung to enter this section - and this is what it is doing.
