I appreciated the exclusive Assassin's Creed, even with the fact that I also hated it on multiple levels. I know I'm not only in sentiment this way, as it was one of the most dissonant games in fresh memory. Some appreciated it, some hated it and others respected it despite of hating it or hated themselves for loving it. I myself tired many a late, late night grinding through the game, wondering why in the hell I was grueling myself to fully total every "memory." I felt rather better about my tireless efforts once I finished it, as I liked the direction the trilogy was title in. My hope was that the first game was just a preliminary point (although a flawed one) for the developers at Ubisoft Montreal to expand.
