Nokia, with the original N-gage, was always one of the first to boast of a proper gaming phone. But since Sony Ericsson is not one to be left behind, speculation was always rife. A patent filed last year gave hope to Sony Ericsson fans. The patent application shows a device that looks like a PSP that is designed to work as a mobile phone too.
It is expected to feature a screen that can be rotated 90 degrees, which will make it easier to switch from phone to gaming mode. As for the specs, it's expected to have 1V-out, built in camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, and (I hope) it will feature a touch high-res screen, at least 8 GB of built in memory, 20 hour battery life and great sound.
All the rumors started circulating after this; the patent application filed by Sony Ericsson. With the sreen in portrait mode, it functions as a normal Sony Ericsson phone, but just twist the screen to make it landscape to enjoy movies, photos and games
