first glance, chances are that you would mistake it for a bygone era two-in-one because of its small size and the convenient carry handle. The A626 features 4.8" touchscreen LCD with an adjustable viewing angle. The front panel opens up to reveal 4 different memory card slots. On the left is a PictBridge slot and at the rear you'll find the loading paper tray, USB, and power slot. There's a slot for a rechargeable battery at the bottom if you wish to print on move. Without connecting to a PC, the printer arms you with lots of photoediting options like cropping, adjusting brightness, and removing red/green eye using the LCD. What's more, editing is done in a separate layer and the original snap remains intact.
You can even add different color effects and choose from an array of frames, album covers, insert c1ipart, add captions using different colors and fonts, and do many other things with the 'Get Creative' option. During our tests, the average time it took for 4x6" prints was 1.40 min while for 5x7" prints it hovered around 1.50 min. When connected through a memory stick it gave flawless prints but it struggled when ordered for a borderless 5x 7" print via a PC. Color and contrast ratios were pleasing enough and overall it returned satisfactory results.
