Samsung SyncMaster 2493HM looks great - and I am not talking exclusively about the antiglare treatment or the crisp 1920-by-1200 pixel native resolution, which provides very good visual quality. SyncMaster also sports streamlined lines and thin, glossy black bezel, which remains relatively smudge free.Getting better picture of the 2493HM is breeze thanks to DVI, HDMI and VGA connections. Will you use two USB ports built-in base of neck? Maybe not, but their location, of course, makes it easy access.On audio front, built-in down shooting and represent a wide range of sound that does not flatten out. You can crank the volume - but the louder it gets, the more distortion you hear. Would you like to rock in silence? Using the built-in headphone jack. But if you're looking for maximum sound quality, buying a separate set of speakers, the subwoofer are better bet.The on-screen menu does an excellent job of marshaling options and streamlining navigation. You can configure additional functions, such as individual colors or use one of the many preset configurations. The buttons for menu, press sensitive, although each button is clearly labeled, it is difficult to understand what it does, resulting in some convenience disappointment.
