I want to add new graphic card ?

My desktop PC is a Pentium 4 3.06GHz with Intel 915G motherboard and 2GB DDR2 RAM. I want to add a new graphics card and am looking at the A Ti Raadeon HD4650 with 1 GB video memory. Will this card be compatible with my present motherboard? A little later, I want to swap out this old processor and motherboard too. I have chosen AMD's new Phenom II X2 545 3.0GHz. Can this processor be put on the Asus M2N68-AM Plus motherboard? This motherboard supports Phenom II X4 as well, but its a AM2 socket supporting motherboard, whereas Phenom II processors are AM3 socket. Will the Phenom II fit on the board? If not, can you suggest a basic compatible mother¬board for the above processor?

We would suggest instead of taking the longer way around to upgrading your PC, why not upgrade the processor and motherboard and upgrade the graphics later. We would suggest you upgrade to the latest AMD 785 chipset, which will allow you to upgrade to the Phenomll X2-545 processor. Not only that, you will get the integrated graphics capabilities. Also, if you are going to upgrade to a dedicated graphics card later, then you will need to buy a more powerfUl SMPS. That is entirely up to you whether you want to buy it now and be future proof, or later with the graphics card.
