No, Nextel mobile phones are not Sat phones. They are CDMA mobile phones with an additional radio for talking to the PTT services. No sat wanted.

However, the frequency for the PTT service is dissimilar than cellular, so it's not a mistaken supposition.

It is not from a phone, I don’t yet have a phone in the room. I observed the wires and nothing appears to be out of sorts within the tower. This is bizarre and it is actually pissing me off. This is the most maddening sound.

FYI it can be sourced by CB/Shortwave transmissions from neighbors. This should be established by using earphones further than your computer.

Cordless phones can cause this too. If the noise is approaching from the Dell itself then you might be hosed but any other source can be lagged against with better shielded headphones/speaker wire.

You can buy a frequency meter at radioshack to measure radio frequencies in the air when this occurs and you can take legal action if the amp used exceeds state laws.

Yeah I can seem into that...I believe it’s just weird that this is initial beyond nowhere. I have checked all my cables in the rear too...recently been noticing that the sound is essentially gone on my desktop, but when I fill World of Warcraft it will occasionally start clicking again; particularly after tabbing out and coming back. Maybe I should reinstall the game; could it be a bad audio file from the game? I’m not sure about that although, since it yet sounds like interference of some type.

Did you still fix this difficulty? Because I've been having the precise same difficulty as of late. Actually, I purchased some new high-quality earphones and I've been hearing static through them yet since. I know it's not the earphones, however, because I already tried them on another computer with no static sound. I also have the precise same computer model and sound card as you.

If you directed to acquire rid of it, I'd love to listen how.

I have a cellular one mobile... And at this time at work, it will blast any speaker system inside 35 feet of it, except the speakers are exited. So if you’re in surroundings where you have a neighbor on a neighboring wall, you still could have a phone intrusive. Don’t discount it because YOU don’t have one near it, someone else near you might!

Does it appear to be impending and going as the hard drive is functioning? I had the same difficulty once a long time before. I heard the similar noise consistently my hard drive light came on. It produced to be a mother board driver subject. Attend the dell website and see if there are any informs for mobile drivers for your system. If so, download and mount them. Expectantly that will cure the issue. Good luck.
