Special permissions offer more of a tailored sole level of permissions for your files and folders. Here are the NTFS special permissions. Traverse Folder/Execute File
For folders, allows the object to navigate through the folder organization below the folder where the permission is applied.
For files, allows the object to perform an application program stored in the folder. List Folder/Read Data
For folders, allows the object to see the names of files and subfolders amassed in the file where the permission is applied.
For folders, allows the object to view the inside of files stored in the folder.
Read Attributes
Allows the object to view the features of a file or folder. Read Extended Attributes
Allows the object to view the extended features of a file or folder.
Extended features are usually defined by an application and vary from program to program. Create Files/Write Data
