The W995 is the second 8.1 megapixel device from Sony Ericsson. The phone has features like geotagging,face detection and image stabiliser. With this device the company is targeting youngsters who prefer good camera phones with great multimedia features. Moreover, the W995 is an addition to the Walkman series.
It comes with the exciting Media Go feature. Media Go is an application that supports playback for all formats of music after automatically recognising it. Since the W995 is a Walkman phone it has great sound quality.



The device is a slider with dedicated short keys for music and camera. Apart from multimedia capabilities it hasBluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Sony Ericsson \\1995 has GPS for easy navigation and a 2.6-inch screen with rich colours. The phone has an onboard memory of 118 MB, which can be expanded up to 8 GB through memory stick micro. It is 3G capable and sup¬ports quad band frequency. The Sony Ericsson W995 will be launched in India in June and is expected to cost around Rs 30,000.
