Today Canon announces the new VIXIA family, Canon HF10 AVCHD Flash Memory Camcorder ($1,300; May 1, 2008). The new HD camcorder family? C the Canon VIXIA HF10 Dual Flash Memory camcorder. It features Genuine Canon HD Video Lens, HD CMOS image sensor for Full HD 1920 x 1080 image capture, DIGIC DV II Image Processor, Instant Auto Focus, and Super Range Optical Image Stabilization. The HF10 main claim that it records to both 16GB of internal flash and removable SDHC cards. Other features 12x optical zoom, 24p Cinema Mode, 30p Progressive Mode and 2.7-inch widescreen LCD.
