Hi, I read your question. Did you mount the chipset and LAN drivers from your motherboard?

I've hard troubles where the network doesn't effort to fine without the chipset drivers.

Also check bios and confirm the LAN is place to full duplex. You could also attempt loading the failsafe defaults if you desire.

Confirmed C4/C4e is turned off in bios - this causes intermittent cutouts on Ethernet if no important activity is happening on the Ethernet/PCI bus.

I actually considered it was my gigabyte board but when I changed my d-link 4300 gaming router with a D-link 655 router, all my problems went away. Selected my transfer speed as a bonus. Can't suggest this router sufficient.

I'm employing the similar motherboard, and I just loaded Windows 7 some weeks before. I haven't been able to get my Ethernet to work at all either (I have a separate wireless card that works). I've downloaded the newest drivers (Windows also recognizes them as advanced), but there is an error with all time I do. Windows can't discover what it is to troubleshoot or yet offer me any type of information. I'll double verify my BIOS settings, but I had no difficulty with my mobo on XP.

Strange, I never had LAN driver matters with 7 on the EP45. Must've gotten fortunate. I am having sound matters though ("Audio device was disconnected" in Windows Media Player, have to reopen files infrequently).

There is also a comprehesive analytic there on the similar page and is hopeless useful but - you want to be cautious with it; I'd suggest setting a restore point before installing, so you can get a complete uninstall - it puts in ringzero components you actually don't desire 'lingering' in your machine afterwards and utilizing something like RevoUninstall doesn't harm.

I just used up 12 hours on the LAN matter. Neither one function. I rationalized to the newest MS drivers stood on one foot, howled at the moon while naked jumped around 3 times and said there's no position similar to home. So I did everything including reformatting and reloading XP.

Just as I was about to "kick the cat" at 12.09 midnight. I saw the proposal to load guaranteed. Not sure why still went into Hardware properties and I'll be damned all the hardware was showing up with no yellow fingers, I signify exclamation points, flipping me off.

So try it I just expect the issue is totally gone and I am setting a restore point as we speak.

Hope this assists.
