We begin with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which concludes the saga in a pretty nice way! Finally an SPF which shows the interest of the Wii for such games. The Wiimote / Nunchuck makes handling very nervous and precise allowing even greater immersion.

I am not going to dwell on my love for Metroid Prime, but after the disappointment of 2, which was probably a bit too close because objectively the game was very strong at all levels, but the novelty 3D was no longer present, I was a little scared of this new episode as a comparison was mandatory in my mind. Just like Mario and Zelda, the first episode in a 3D universe is so striking that our nostalgia does not allow us to be objective with 3D suites.

Technically it is quite similar to NGC episode except that it is highly fluid, that the game is 16 / 9 and 480p, while offering much more visual details. And the talent of artists from Studio Retro is always present, the ensemble is visually beautiful and coherent. The level design is also a strong point of the series, and this episode does not pale figure, quite the contrary.
